Fundraise
Whether you join us at an event, host your own fundraiser, or create your own challenge, fundraising is an excellent way to support Baca's young people.
Your fundraising will raise the money that's vital to help Baca provide safety and opportunities to more child refugees. It'll help raise awareness of their experiences, and could encourage others to help create a world that welcomes people seeking sanctuary as well as being a super fun and rewarding experience!

Langar Skydive - Choose Your Own Date

Leicestershire Half Marathon - 23rd Feb 2025
Take on the Leicestershire Half Marathon set in the grounds of Prestwold Hall. Open to all runners, the route takes runners on a picturesque run along the neighbouring country roads. Grab your place here.
Leicester 10k - 2nd March 2025
The Leicester 10K returns with a stunning route in the heart of the Midlands from the city centre to the beautiful greenery of Victoria Park to finish with a medal and goody bag at Jubilee Square. Get your place here.
Nottingham 10k - 9th March 2025
Returning with an exciting new and improved city centre route, this year's Nottingham 10K will start in Old Market Square and finish inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle. You can get your place here.
TCS London Marathon My Way - 27th April 2025
Take part in London Marathon's virtual event and run 26.2 miles in 24 hours. Register here.
NorthStowe Half Marathon and 10k - 27th April
Check-in with the ever-changing scenery of Northstowe with the annual Half Marathon & 5k through the town and neighbouring Longstanton. Both courses are suitable for those new and old to running events. Get your place here.
Outlaw Half Nottingham - 17-18th May 2025

Challenge events

We have teamed up with Charity Challenge events with a selection of once in a lifetime opportunities. From the North Pole to the South Pole, and covering deserts, rivers, mountains, forests and jungles. Whether you're looking for glacier capped mountains in the Andes, active volcanos in Indonesia, mountain biking through the wilds of Iceland, or the thrill of white water rafting the Zambezi River, we'll have something to inspire you here!
Setting up your fundraising page
1. Go to: https://bacacharity.org.uk/register
2. Create an account by adding your details and a password.
3. Enter the dashboard and create your own campaign.
4. Select from the campaigns available and then you can give your page a title, enter your fundraising target and tell us why you're taking part.
5. Click ‘publish’ to make your fundraising page live.
6. You can login whenever you like to make edits to your page by going to bacacharity.org.uk/register and clicking ‘edit page’.
7. Share the page with your family and friends and start getting sponsorship!

Child refugees who arrive in the UK alone have been through the most horrific experiences. Many will be victims of human trafficking, exploitation, violence and abuse. They will have travelled here to flee persecution and war. We believe in our young people’s dignity, resilience and have hope in their ability to build a brighter future. We enable each young person who we serve to represent who they are – individuals with dignity, character and talents – while they rebuild their lives. By taking part in an event, you can help enable each young person to be safe, free and to live their life to their fullest potential. Thank you.
