Madeleine's (half) Marathon

The Baca charity supports young people who have been forced to flee their home country, because of war, persecution, or trafficking. Baca provides a safe home, education and care that enables them to fulfil their potential and become thriving members of the community.
Everyone at Baca - staff and volunteers - are dedicated to supporting, encouraging and helping these young people.

I have been working at Baca since December 2023 and have had the warmest welcome imaginable from all I have contact with.

Please sponsor me as I run the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for this wonderful charity, your money can help change lives.

About this event

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.

A picturesque route taking you along Victoria Embankment, River Trent, past Nottingham Castle, Robin Hood statue, The Park and Wollaton Park where you’re bound to see a few deer roaming. The race finishes on Victoria Embankment Recreation ground next to the River Trent.
